Waterford Green Gators Swim Team

**Welcome, Swimmers! Registration information is below. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!**

Swimmer fees include coaching and at all practices, team t-shirt (previous season t-shirts of available size if you are registering after May 1, 2026), league and administrative fees, insurance, event ribbons, end-of-year fun (party TBD), and certificate.

** Ages 5 (who plan to compete in meets) through 14: $165 1st swimmer per family; $135 each additional swimmer per family.

Ages 15-18: $35

Ages 4-5 who are not eligible for, or do not plan to participate in meets: $125 per swimmer (please select the 4-5 age range during registration).

Swimmers who are eligible for meets (turn age 5 by May 27,2026 and can swim one length of the pool unassisted) and expect to compete later in the season, should register in the 5-12 age group and order a team suit at the time of registration.

The preferred method of payment is Stripe through this form (there is a small transaction fee).

REFUNDS - Once registration is complete, if your plans change, we can offer a partial refund, based on the date of cancellation. The swim team incurs costs for insurance, fees for Cobb County Summer Swim, transaction fees, and coaches, so unfortunately are unable to offer a full refund.

PRACTICES (subject to change) - We are offering morning practices this year and attendance at as many practices as possible is encouraged. Groups will be organized by skill level, not necessarily by age.

SWIM MEETS - Meets will be held on Tuesday nights, with the first meet Wednesday, May 27th due to the Memorial Day holiday. The tentative schedule is subject to change, as Cobb Swim receives last minute team requests. Every effort is taken to schedule meet makeups, in the case of inclement weather. Please refer to the SCHEDULE section for swim meet dates.

TEAM SWIMSUITS - Team suits will be handled by All American Swim/Keifer Aquatics. We will have a fitting opportunity on March 15th at Waterford Green Clubhouse from 3-5pm. Previous years' Gators team suits (TYR green & black pattern or black/green or black/white with Gators logo) are also acceptable for use during swim meets.

VOLUNTEERS - Volunteers are a vital part of a successful swim season and will be needed for both home and away meets. Each family is required to volunteer for AT LEAST FIVE shifts per season. If you are attending a meet, please sign up to volunteer. Committee chair positions are also available, and chairs will receive a FREE TEAM T-SHIRT! The volunteer opt-out fee option will not be offered this year. If volunteering is difficult, please find another to fill in or "hire" a teenager to fill your spot.  They can get volunteer hours.
