Good morning, Gator families!

Looking forward to this week.  Reminder that there is no swim practice on Wednesday, the last day of school. WG is holding its End of School celebration  at the pool.

Some news on volunteering:

A few changes to the Volunteer Roles, since we have a limited number of families. 

• I am having the coaches handle the bullpen role of gathering kids for the events. Parents can help by sending your swimmers to line up 3-5 events before their next one. I am deleting bullpen from the sign-ups.
• I believe we will try to combine the data/entry and scorekeeper roles since I understand the preference is to score in our Swimtopia app versus on paper.  I will have paper as a back-up should there be Wi-Fi issues at any meet.  That said, I plan to combine those roles.  If you have signed up for these, I will reach out to you to discuss.
• Home meet clean up: If you are still at the pool at the end of the meet, please help put back chairs, pick up trash, etc.  If we all pitch in a little, it gets done quickly. And please be a good neighbor at away meets and help make sure trash is picked up.

And my biggest reminder/ask is to please sign up for volunteer slots.  If we do not have enough volunteers to cover the meet, we will be forced to forfeit, and that would be a shame.  Again, at least 4 shifts per family (and not 1 shift per meet). I know that people are not making it to every meet, so we are stretching it with the 4-shift ask. We can't do this without you! Please sign up.

Job Signup

• Click the green JOB SIGNUP tab and sign up for volunteer shifts (note one parent may sign up both parents for jobs -- scroll down and you’ll see the other parent listed). If you know you and your spouse will not be at this meet, skip to Swimmer Signup. You can also sign-up but have someone stand in for you.
• Click Save Assignments.
• Click Back to Signup Calendar.
