Gator Swim Families,

(Lots of information, but please read.)

The excitement is building as we approach the beginning of the season! Registration is still open, so invite your friends to join us. One more swim suit fitting tomorrow at the WG clubhouse from 5:00-7:00pm.

Our first practice will be on TUESDAY, MAY 16th, due to an event at our clubhouse on the 15th, but come ready to swim with a towel, goggles, and sunscreen.  We will also practice Wednesday and Thursday, but not Friday, the 19th (also an event). After School Practices – Tuesday, May 16th through Tuesday, May 23th

Junior Gators (non-competitive) 4:30-5:00

5-6 years 4:30-5:15

7-10 years 5:15-6:00

11 & older 6:00-6:45

Morning Practices – Thursday May 25th through Tuesday June 27th

Junior Gators (non-competitive) 9:00-9:30

5-6 years 9:00-9:45

7-10 years 9:45-10:30

11 & older 10:30-11:15

NO PRACTICE on the following dates: Monday, May 15th and Friday, May 19th (due to clubhouse events), Wednesday, May 24th (Cobb Schools last day of school and Walton graduation) and Monday May 29th (Memorial Day). 

Only coaches and swimmers (at their times) on the pool deck, so your children can receive uninterrupted coaching and practice. Parents are welcome to watch from the pavilion. Please direct all questions  or concerns to Devra Bafs, our coordinator, not the coaches.

Over the course of our two home meets and two away meets, we will need FOUR shift sign-ups per family, rather than five. Each meet is divided into two shifts/two halves of the meet. Descriptions are on the website and I will be available the first few days of practice to answer questions about the different roles or anything else.  PLEASE sign up now so we can prepare for the meets accordingly.  

Our third "home" meet scheduled for June 13th is a BYE due to another team leaving the league. It will be a mini meet for our younger gators as well as fun team building games, pizza, and other surprises for everyone. More to come!
